When our guests come from all over the world to stay with us at our jungle lodge in the Peruvian Amazon, we introduce them to a complex web of life, composed of plants and animals both large and small. Our local guides are experts at taking our guests to areas of the rainforest where they can see some of the Amazon basin’s most elusive animals. These include major fauna, such as monkeys, anacondas, caimans, and even jaguars. And we also like to introduce our guests to the miniature world inhabited by insects, which make up 90% of all species of fauna in the Amazon rainforest. We have been protecting the forest surrounding our jungle lodge for more than 30 years, and its fauna and flora are thriving!
